Commands are executed by cron(8) when the minute, hour, and month of year fields match the current time, and when at least one of the two day fields (day of month, or day of week) match the current time (see “Note” below).

Sprich der Eintrag

0 12 13 * 5 root foo

wird nicht (wie erwartet) an jedem Freitag den 13. um 12:00 ausgeführt, sondern an jedem 13. des Monats UND an jedem Freitag. Bin gerade beim Lernen für den LPI 102 böse drüber gestolpert.
